Emma Cate is a Long Covid teacher on hiatus (a title created by her!) who is currently the editor of EdTech Innovation Hub.
She was formally part of the T&L and Curriculum team at her school in East Sussex. Where she was the Research Lead, Key stage One Lead and Early Maths and Reading Lead.
She previously taught in South East London where she led EY, KS1, Maths and Art and was an NQT mentor.
Emma has a huge passion for teaching Maths, Early reading, and traditional teaching methods in EYFS. She is an accredited coach via EMCC and enjoys helping others help themselves via both pure and instructional coaching.
Emma is co-founder of #PrimaryEssentials. An annual online conference delivering CPD for teachers, from teachers. It is always a wonderful day, celebrating all things primary education.
She is co-founder of The Safe Space created to provide a safe space for women in educational online communities who have been the victim of unsolicited messages/DMs/emails/snapchats.
